Structure

Anyone at FP that has been here longer than you can help you out. Each new starter is typically assigned a trainer that is meant to help you learn the basics as soon as possible. If your trainer is unavailable or you feel isn’t being a big help, contact your manager.

That depends on what you’re looking to be promoted into. Trainers, Team Leaders, Managers and Partners all have a different criteria required to be completed before someone can be promoted. Location

Our head office for the Gold Coast is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Brisbane Head Office is located in Spring Hill near the Upper Edward train stops 13 and 14. Your shift will be scheduled at an event location (within a shopping centre) somewhere in or around your head office. For example, First Purpose may lease 4 sites in the Gold Coast (Tweed City, Australia Fair, Pines Elanora, Chevron Renaissance). You may be rostered at any 1/4 sites throughout the week. Speak to your trainer or your manager about travel to and from site locations if you do not have a vehicle.

Yes! We frequently book travel trips all over Australia for high performing individuals on the team. These trips are paid for by the company and the results tend to be huge for you, your company and the client you’re representing. If you’re interested in taking part in a road trip ask your trainer or your manager.

You never are asked to work alone. Therefore, you will be working alongside someone that likely drives and can drive you to site and return you to either a public transport location or back to the office.

We expect all our staff to be able to find their own way to and from the office before and after work. Maybe someone on the team lives close to you and you can carpool. Doesn’t hurt to ask!

Some people on the team may have their favourite locations that they love to work at. However, it is a philosophy at the company that EVERY site in EVERY shopping centre, when properly utilized, will be an excellent spot to work at. It’s all in the mindset of the salesperson!

Morning Meetings

Morning meetings are optional not mandatory. However, if you’re in your trial and underperforming and also not attending morning meetings, you may have a hard time justifying your underperformance. We recommend that all new starters attend as many morning meetings as they can.

The morning meetings for both the Gold Coast and Brisbane office are at 7:30am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone is expected at the morning meeting unless they advise their trainer or their manager the day beforehand. Cut off time for notifying your absence is 8PM the day before.
